| FOOD PANTRY~ Thank you to those who have donated to the food pantry. We know times are hard and we appreciated your sacrifice. The Banquet Table Food Pantry is in need of cereal, canned soup and veggies, . Support our Troops Sandy Smith continues to ship off care packages to our soldiers. Four more have been added to her list so that means more goodies to put in those boxes are needed! Please drop those items off at he church office. A list of suggested items is in the foyer. AND be sure to give a big thanks to Sandy for being so faithful with this outreach! Altar Flowers If you would like to sign up for altar flowers to celebrate a special occasion or in memory of a loved one, please sign up on the bulletin board by the church office or call the church. You may pick up the flowers anytime after the morning services or during the week. FINANCIAL GIVING As in the past, in order to get proper credit for your giving and to receive a year-end contribution statement, you must put your offering in a blue offering envelope and fill it out completely and legibly, with your first and last name and address. If you would prefer an assigned number, rather than filling out your name, call the office. Thanks! LAND OR CELL?? With so many people dropping their land lines and using their cell phones as their only contact number we are finding it increasingly difficult to keep numbers current. Please let the office know if you have a change in your phone number or address. We would like to keep our information as updated as possible |

Conference in Columbus
June 8 and 9.
Our first opportunity to
promote the new season
will be the Van Wert
County Fair. We can use
your help in manning the
booth during key hours at
the fair. This is a great
time to see kids and
parents who have been
part of Upward who stop
by for a visit, and to talk
with new children and
parents who may have
questions. Watch for the
fair booth sign-up sheet
at the information station
in the lobby..
The registration forms for
basketball and
cheerleading will be
printed in August and
distributed through the
schools in September. Be
watching for ways that
you can serve by helping
with Upward and
introducing children to
Jesus.
